SMRI on the Move!

SMRI is pleased to have Ms. Brenda Bailey join the Company from the Office Depot Center in Sunrise, Florida, where she last held the position of Assistant General Manager and prior to that promotion was Director of Marketing for the Facility since it's opening in 1996. Prior to her work at the Office Depot Center, she was Director of Sport Development for the Broward County Economic Development Council. Brenda will be assisting SMRI as a marketing consultant and corporate sponsorship entitlement work.

SMRI is also pleased to announce the recent hire of Mr. Craig W. Petrus, who joins the Company in a "Project Manager" position. Craig comes to SMRI from a corporate sales position of three years with the Miami Heat NBA Franchise, where he was primarily responsible for the servicing and creation of new corporate accounts. His responsibilities with SMRI include corporate sponsorship valuation and promotional sponsorship activation with Corporate Accounts in addition to servicing market research projects via initiation and activation.

Prior to joining the Miami Heat, Craig spent seven years with the Florida Panthers starting with the organization in their inaugural season of 1993. Starting out as a promotions and marketing assistant with the Florida Panthers Hockey Club, Craig was able to gain valuable experience in game-day operations and the planning of retail market promotions. Later on, accepting a position as an Account Executive in Season Ticket Sales, Craig gained valuable experience in the area of sales and customer service. Following his Ticket Sales experience, Craig transitioned into selling Corporate Sponsorships for the Florida Panthers and the Office Depot Center to major companies across the globe. Craig graduated from Barry University with a degree in Sports Management and a Minor in Business Administration in 1995.

It is with great pleasure that SMRI welcomes both Brenda and Craig to the seven person SMRI team of full time employees and consultants.
